Co-Founder of Airthium | Developing Breakthrough Heat Technology to Decarbonize Industry and the Electrical Grid

Franck Lahaye is the Co-Founder of Airthium, a Y Combinator-funded climate technology company focused on decarbonizing industry and the electrical grid. Airthium is developing a breakthrough electric heat engine designed to produce CO₂-free heat at temperatures up to 1,000°F (550°C), with the goal of providing an alternative to natural gas for high-temperature industrial applications. Since co-founding the company in 2017, Franck has helped advance its mission of addressing significant sources of global carbon emissions.

Before Airthium, Franck built a career in satellite communications, media services, and technology sales. He served as a Director at Meteor Trading and spent more than five years at Intelsat, where he managed major media accounts across the EMEA region and developed solutions involving fiber, satellite, managed services, and bandwidth. Earlier, he worked in sales and project coordination in the U.S. and earned a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship from ICN Business School, along with training through Y Combinator.
