Phillip Nalwalker

Phillip Nalwalker is the Founder and CEO of Eagle Cathedral City, a premier nightlife destination and community hub created for the LGBTQ+ and leather/kink community in Greater Palm Springs. With over 25 years of experience as a software engineering leader—including roles as a Staff Software Engineer at Intuit—Phillip brings technical precision and systems-level discipline to the hospitality industry. After relocating to the Coachella Valley in 2022, he and his husband, Jeremy, set out to fill a critical void in local nightlife, acquiring and leading a complete ground-up renovation of a landmark venue space to celebrate authentic leather culture and inclusive community spaces.

At the helm of Eagle Cathedral City, Phillip oversees back-end technical infrastructure, financial operations, and complex facility engineering to build a state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor venue. Under his leadership, the project successfully raised over $1.38 million through a community-backed Wefunder revenue-share campaign alongside significant personal investment. Passionate about community advocacy, Phillip integrates local giveback initiatives into the core business model—partnering with organizations like the Transgender Health and Wellness Center and sponsoring local LGBTQ+ sports teams to ensure the venue serves as a lasting, positive force in the region.
